Wrapping Up Production

I would love to say that with my time at SCAD, thus also ends my journey with "The Starmaker", but we aren't quite finished just yet. Now that I've graduated, I'm taking this time to give the film a very thorough polishing in preparation for submission to SCADanimate in the fall and possibly a short festival run. I'd also like to say thank you to the wonderful Starmaker Crew without whom this film would not have been possible. Here's to you!

Hard at Work

Our crew has been working very diligently this quarter cleaning up animation and getting rough layouts painted. Here are a few of the finished layouts by our seriously talented background painting team!

Also, with the help of Tyler Kupferer, we've begun test compositing. (Not in HD due to Vimeo)

Senior Soiree

As many attendees know, this past weekend the Senior Soiree was held at the River Club. Caitlin and I had a great time dishing out delicious cookies and recruiting people for the film with our tablemate Matt Luck. We're excited to see what our turnout will be for the ToomBoom demo next Sunday as we had many people stop by the table to express interest in "The Starmaker".


If you couldn't make it to the River Club, that's quite alright! We'll have fliers around Monty soon enough to advertise for our meeting this weekend. :) To everyone who stopped by our table, thank you so much for your support and we hope to see you soon!

The Starmaker Intro

"The Starmaker" is a film about a young female starmaker who helps a fallen constellation return to the night sky. While watching her fix his broken star, the constellation falls in love with the Starmaker and he in turn opens her eyes to a new way of creating stars.
