The Collaborators

The Director

Jenny Plyler is a junior at Savannah College of Art and Design working towards her BFA in Animation. Outside of preparing for her own senior film, "The Starmaker," she has spent the last year producing Robin Stanberry's animated film "Washer Woman" as well as animating 2-D Effects for Grant Harwell's senior film "The Symphony of Life" and Nate Swinehart's graduate thesis film "Rain Dance." Her aspirations beyond college are to further expand her skills as an artist and animator while working in the animation industry.

The Composer

Kristen Albert is a rising senior at Converse College in Spartanburg, South Carolina, where she is studying Music Composition at the Petrie School of Music. She has written several solo works and chamber pieces for orchestral and wind instruments, as well as many vocal works. She has also collaborated with theatre professor and playwright Brent Glenn to score two of his plays, “The Autumn Ghost Radio Hour Presents: ‘Oh Horrors!’” and “One Hour With Three Lepers.” Kristen’s upcoming projects include a musical written by Columbus State University student Libba Beaucham, in addition to Jenny Plyler’s “The Starmaker."
